Continuous proof that you are inside your limits

Manual sampling tells you what a discharge looked like on the morning someone took a bottle to the lab. Gate-IoT builds continuous automatic monitoring — probes, samplers, data loggers, and the software above them — so the record is complete, timestamped, and ready when it is asked for.

Why Continuous, Not Periodic

The gap between samples is where the risk lives.

Exceedances get missed

A discharge can breach its limit for hours between two scheduled samples, and nothing in the record will ever show it happened.

Gaps count against you

Inspectors look at data availability before they look at the values. Unexplained gaps are treated as a failure of the system.

Reports assembled by hand

Compiling monthly submissions from lab certificates and spreadsheets takes days, and every manual step is a place to be questioned.

No warning, only findings

Without a live reading, the first sign of a problem is a result that arrives after the discharge has already left the site.

What We Monitor

The full chain for each measurement point: probe, conditioning, logger, transmission, and the record at the end of it.

Wastewater

pH, COD, TSS, ammonium, temperature, colour, and flow at the discharge point, measured in the channel and compared against permitted limits.

Stack emissions

Dust, SO₂, NOₓ, CO, and O₂ from boilers and process stacks, corrected to reference conditions the way the permit requires.

Ambient air & noise

PM2.5, PM10, VOC, and noise around the site boundary — the measurements that neighbours and inspectors raise first.

Automatic sampling

A sampler triggered by an exceedance keeps a physical bottle from the moment in question, so a disputed reading has evidence behind it.

Automatic transmission

Readings sent onward to the monitoring authority on the schedule and format required, without anyone re-keying them.

System availability

The monitoring system watches itself: calibration due, analyser faults, and every data gap logged with its reason.

How We Work

Compliance systems are judged on the record they produce, so we start from what has to be proved.

01

Read the permit

Which parameters, which limits, which reporting interval, and which points. Everything downstream follows from this, so we start here rather than with a catalogue.

02

Design the station

Analysers matched to the range and matrix, sampling and conditioning to keep them reading correctly, and the cabinet to house it all.

03

Install & commission

Built, wired, calibrated, and verified against reference measurements before it is declared operational.

04

Keep it reporting

Consumables, calibration, and remote diagnosis — because a station that stops reporting is worse than one that was never installed.

Send Us Your Permit Conditions

Tell us the parameters, the limits, and the reporting interval you are held to. We will come back with a station design, a device list, and what it costs to run each year.
